Der Käfer schadet dem Wald nicht, denn sie legen die Eier in Totholz, von dem sich die Larven ernähren. Allerdings sind auch Holzhäuser aus totem Holz… Hier kann wohl großer Schaden entstehen.
I like the forms and the colours of the beetle on the thistle! It fits so well.
The beetle does no harm to the woods, because it lays the eggs into dead wood only. But careful with wooden houses! That’s dead wood too…
